A member asked:

I have heart rate that can't be controlled, blood pressure, choking, pain, breathing problems. i believe this to be from damage to my vagus nerve.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is certainly: possible though less likely that you have vagus nerve damage, unless you have had recent surgery in the chest or neck area. In order to diagnose this condition, you would need a neuro surgeon who may send you to Neurology for vagal nerve stimulation testing. Overall, this is a difficult diagnosis to make. But it is possible with the right physicians
