My 4yo's uvula is stuck to one tonsil. we took her to a gp, they have her steroids for the time being, because she had recently been on anti biotics and he didn't want to prescribe her out again so soon. what the best course of action going forward?

Ignore the issue. It is likely a past infection left residual swelling/elongation that will subside over time. Local mucus has a sticky quality. Once the local irritation subsides the uvula will resume its usual position.
