My son has a growth on his lower eyelid. at first we thought it was a stive but it hasn't gone away in months. it does not itch but it is red. he is on medicated eye drops as well as medicated ointment and neither seem to help?

The lesion could be a chalazion which is subacutely infected, not a stye and it should be excised if it has not improved for months. He should be examined by an ophthalmologist. Take care!
