See a physician: Any new eye symptoms should be evaluated by a physician as some viral infections and other problems put long term vision at risk. Eye allergy typically involves both eyes equally, but predominance in one eye is possible. If allergy is confirmed, prescription meds are available and this would be unlikely to improve rapidly without them.
