Your are correct. That restriction may not be necessary because milk does not contain high oxalate content and intake of calcium from foods may be beneficial in limiting oxalate absorption from foods. I wonder if there is something else, e.g. your serum calcium could be on the high side or urine test reveals high calcium. You should discuss frankly with your urologist.

Currently that is not the dietary restriction for your type of stone. Pl ask your Urologist for the reason. Dont forget to drink plenty of water.
