If so, it has no bearing on kidney stones, which is usually a separated condition but requires periodic check on the liver and kidney function. Without detailed study, a universal stone-preventive advice includes maintaining more than 2500 cc daily urine output and decreasing oral consumption of salt, red meat, and dairy products by 50%. Oxalate stones: Studies show high intake of lemon citrate is essential. high intake of magnesium and potassium is essential. Low intake of salt and animal protein is essential. Take 5 teaspoons of ReaLemon extract per day. Eat tropical fruits such as mango, melons, kiwi, tomato. Drink 3-4 quarts fluid per day. Avoid caffeine.
