How long do you have the symptoms. Is there any nausea/vomiting.Any heart burn? Do you still have the gall bladder. Does the pain go the back.Is it continuous or intermittent . It is good to be examined by your PCP to come to a diagnosis . There are few other possibilities other than stomach and duodenum as the cause of the pain. Need to r/o problems from gall bladder,liver,heart,pancreas ,colon.

It is not possible to know for sure, but the pain could be coming from the stomach, esophagus, pancreas, heart, or other organs in the vicinity. If the pain is persistent or is worsening, you should see your doctor about it. In the meantime, you could try over-the-counter and acids like Mylanta or Tums as a first attempt to control the symptoms. Good luck.
