I've had burning pain above my belly button, below my sternum. it's inside and feels like a sunburn. drinking cold beverages or eating ice cream makes it feel better. i wake up every morning gassy, needing to poop immediately. gerd, gastritis, ulcer?

Discomfort in the midline of the upper abdomen relieved by eating is a characteristic of benign ulcers of the stomach or duodenum.Malignant ulcers in the stomach are often aggravated by eating. Awakening in the AM with an urgent need for a BM is often seen in irritable bowel syndrome unless this is a recent development in your case. I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist for diagnosis & treat
