What percent of thyroid patients-- develop thyrotoxicosis, or any other form of thyroid dysfunction after having iodine contrast? i have chronic thyroiditis, diffuse enlarged goiter, labs are within normal range so no treatment currently?

It is a very rare complication but it may occur (0.025% or 1 per 4,000 cases), but it is not a contraindication if you have to receive it. For caution, if you have underlying cardiovascular problem, you should have the thyroid panel test done in 4 weeks or sooner if you feel some unusual symptom such as palpitation or tremor, etc.
