During thyroid biopsy of 2 nodules pathologist said this looks like thyroiditis. my labs are within normal range. what could this mean?

Inflammation: Inflammation of the thyroid can manifest in multiple ways, including goiter, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism and also with normal thyroid function. If you have throid inflmmation you need to have regular follow-up as it is likely to end up with low thyroid function and you are likely to need thyroid medication down the road.
