Your blood pressure could be high due to your infection so you should wait until you feel better and re-take it. One blood pressure reading does not necessarily indicate a problem. Check the readings at different times during the day and keep track of them. Then, show your doctor the results for diagnosis/possible treatment. Weight loss may be helpful so see your doctor for help with this as well.

There is vey limited use of an isolated blood pressure value, specifically checked when being sick (COVID). Establish with a primary care doc and try to lose weight, further blood pressure checks will clarify if indeed developing hypertension. Lifestyle changes will be the most important in the long range.
