Tested negative for covid. how to treat this at home: slight sore throat up beneath the nose, some draining into the throat, ringing ears, some hotness no fever and head pressure. seems to be something viral whole house caught it?

Everyone in the household should test for COVID; it would be a mistake to rely on only one result. If all negative, probably you're sharing a common cold. There's nothing unusual about that. As for all colds, there is no treatment that speeds recovery, you just have to pass through it. Over-the-counter treatments like acetaminophen and decongestants can lessen symptoms.
