I'm 38. i have pcos and take norethisterone. if i didn't take norethisterone, how would pcos be affecting me at my age? does staying on norethisterone mitigate all of the effects of pcos?

You are taking hormone therapy for PCOS so you should be educated by your GYN doctor why you are taking it. It's mainly used for menstrual dysfunction and contraceptive effect. Unfortunately, norethisterone alone does not alleviate all aspects of PCOS.
