Im 24 and have had pcos for 2 years. i was told i had high testosterone. ive struggled with horrible acne as a result and my periods are irregular. i was recently prescribed the bc norethindrone, will this help lower my testosterone/ clear acne?

Yes: Birth control pills can help with acne, by lowering testosterone levels. Don't rely on this completely. See your doc for other acne control measures. Skin care is all important. For some great info on acne this great site: https://dermnetnz.org/topics/acne/
