Pcos- gyn gave me aygestin (norethindrone) 5mg for 5days. finished aygestin (norethindrone) 3 days ago & still no period. typical? 5mg/5days enough? had success w/ provera in past.

Not enough: It might be that a higher dose of Progesterone would work more appropriately. I would call and request 10mg of Provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days. If this does not induce a period, then it is worth a more thorough discussion with your doctor regarding why you are unable to shed the lining, or rather, why there is not lining to shed!
