A member asked:

My son, 36, sometimes gets dry skin on his palms and these tiny fluid filled bumps.. what is this? he has no other symptoms.. he just had a cbc/ urine test and all was perfect... is it excema and what can he use?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dyshidrotic eczema is the likely diagnosis. The cause is unknown. Possible triggers are exposure to certain substances like nickel, flareups of other allergies or frequently sweaty hands. It can be a difficult condition to treat & a dermatologist is best to diagnose, treat& followup for best results. Your pharmacist can recommend a nonprescription cream to try.
