A fasting blood glucose of 105 is almost normal and, by itself, does not indicate a pancreas issue. However, it probably should be repeated in a month or so along with a hemoglobin A1C to be certain you are not developing diabetes. If you are overweight, weight loss and exercise can be helpful. See your doctor so you can have these blood tests done. Best of luck to you!!

Do you have a family history of diabetes? Are you overweight? An FBS over 99 is considered prediabetic. This doesn't necessarily mean you're destined to become fully diabetic however. It's a warning that you should avoid concentrated sweets like candy, pastry, syrups, etc & reduce starches like bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, maintain ideal weight, exercise regularly and be tested every few months.

Your finding is consistent with a diagnosis of pre-diabetes. You can control the progression of this by losing about 10% or your weight and exercising at least 30 minutes a day. It would be prudent to consult a doctor for continuing care.
