Can my blood glucose level rise when i have pain in my stomach post whipple major operation for pancreatic cancer?

Yes: Pain and stress can raise blood sugars. Of course, having had most of your pancreas removed, you likely have developed diabetes as a result. If your sugars are significantly elevated, it is likely that you would require treatment with insulin.
