Multiple bacterial infections last year. i had to take amoxicillin 4 times for 12 days each. i was just diagnosed with strep. i was prescribed amox-clav. will this work or possible i am resistant due to using amoxicillin so much ?

Reasonable question. If your strep infection is well documented and causing symptoms wherever it is (throat? skin cellulitis or abscess? other?), not treating probably would be much more risky than not doing so because of resistance concerns. Discuss with your doctor. Consider infectious diseases consultation about both this issue and possible reasons for so many bacterial infections.
