I vomited dec 31,ever since then all the muscles around my rib cage and back have been killing me, i've been using lidocaine patches, aleve, advil, goodies powder, aspirin and a heating pad,its been 18 days of hurting,how long will this last?

I do not believe your thorax pain is due to vomiting unless broke your rib(s) in the process. You should have a CT scan of the chest done for the correct diagnosis. If CT was done and no abnormality was found, you should see a rheumatologist.
