I have neuropathy. i use a walker & wheelchair for assistance.with my limited mobility,i've gained over 70lbs but i do exercise & i'm in physical therapy. my question is,can you take gabapentin & phentermine together? any info is appreciated, thanks?

You are eating more than you are burning. Carrying around 70 lbs is like having a backpack containing 280 sticks of butter. Going to wear something out. Get the app Cronometer and track what you are eating and how much you are burning. Easiest way is to find out where calories are coming from & change that. DASH diet will be a big help. Check drug interactions@ drugs.com. Beware of phenterimie.

As Dr. Grim saliently mentioned, your intake of food and beverages exceeds your caloric activity, and this creates weight gain. Phentermine is NOT the answer, but you need to know that gabapentin is commonly associated with weight gain. Get a second opinion about your entire clinical status.
