How accurate is a ct scan with contrast vs no contrast? had a ct scan of kidneys and bladder after recurrent utis and recently had an ultrasound come back normal. ct scan came back normal but i chose not to do the contrast. emetophobia. is that bad?

CT with contrast may be necessary or recommended in some cases but not all. You should not worry if both ultrasound and CT without contrast are normal.
