The toprol that i've been taking lowers my bp, but the medicine also makes several tiny pains come into my chest. it is 25mg pill. the pains recently started. i was just wondering should i stop the medication and talk to my doctor ?

I am not sure if your symptom is a side effect of Toprol. However, if you are truly bothered by that, you can talk to your doctor but do not stop it abruptly although the dose is low. There are more suitable BP meds for a young man like you, Toprol is not the first choice anyway unless you have high heart rate or frequent ectopic heart beats besides hypertension.
