A tuberculosis patient was standing in front of me and talking loudly that his saliva coming out. will i catch tb? the patient has recently done tb test report says sputum tb not detected but doctor says on xray some black line is present on chest?

Please obtain a blood test to detect TB exposure in 4 weeks to 12 weeks post exposure. A skin test is also acceptable. If positive, a chest x ray may be performed. Watch for signs of cough,fever and weight loss. Discuss whether he is being treated for latent or active TB? There are many conditions that cause x ray changes
