Herpes is not a possibility for this. Probably you're just seeing normal urethral fluid, or perhaps residual pre-ejaculate fluid that accompanied normal erections during sleep. If you start seeing more, e.g. staining of your underwear, get it checked out.

This is not a symptom of HSV but more likely prostatitis. You need to be EXAMINED not just tested. Pl see a Urologist
