A member asked:

I recovered from bells palsy in a month after it set in march this year , i have pain in my neck and little fever and i constantly feel like bells palsy is gonna recur. is it possible for neck pain and pain in lower back of head to be warning sign ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Recurrent episodes of Bell's palsy are rather unusual unless you possess an underlying systemic disease (such as sarcoidosis). Neck and back pain are not symptoms that predict facial paralysis. Your recovery within a month is typical. You might consider counseling to help quell your anxiety.
