There are several viruses that can cause those symptoms . One is herpes zoster, also known as shingles, which is caused by reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus that causes chickenpox. Shingles typically begins with pain or tingling in one side of the body, followed by a rash and fever (CDC). Another is Epstein-Barr which causes infectious mononucleosis or "Mono". Get Checked!
