Can anyone let me know how accurate is the guaiac test? i had one done and it was negative. 35 year old male afraid of having colon cancer?

A stool guiac test can be falsely negative if active bleeding is not present. There are blood tests that may be helpful, but the Gold Standard involves periodic rectal exams and colonoscopies. Get on a schedule and do these as recommended by your physician.
