I had an abdominal x-ray months ago which showed colon wall thickening with follow up ct scan recommended. i did a colonoscopy instead which came back fine. do i still need the ct? gastroenterologist did not seem concerned. thx?

Trust the opinion of the gastroenterologist. A coloscopy is more revealing than a CT scan of the colon. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

Abdominal x-ray showed colon thickening. Colonoscopy came back fine. No diverticulitis, etc. Could the X-ray have been wrong or what could have been seen on x-ray that colonoscopy missed? This was x-ray and not a CT. GI did not appear concerned?
Would a CT Scan of the abdomen/pelvic show a colon tumor? Or are those not visible on a CT scan? Normal CT scan... not a virtual colonoscopy one.

Abdominal x-rays, ultrasound bile duct enlarged,mrcp, blood tests, a few days ago a colonoscopy and egd w/polypectomy sessile polyp ascending colon. ulcers/erosions in gastric body. All shows Normal. Yet STILL PAIN mucus&jellylike bowel! OVERLOOKING?
Colonoscopy showed a 2cm bulging in cecum. Biopsy was good. CT scan was unremarkable. It was noted that the loop of the sigmoid colon is located in the right quadrant, immediately beneath the cecum. GI wants a follow up, but won't explain why. Help?
