If liver function blood tests were normal, with a normal mrcp there's a good chance that the dilated bile ducts are insignificant. Erosive gastritis would not cause large amounts of mucus in stools, but inflammatory bowel disease can. Was there any sign of Crohn's disease in your studies as associated abdominal pain is strongly suggestive of inflammatory bowel disease. Was the ileum seen clearly?
