I was bending down to put groceries away and hit my head on the bottom shelf of my refrigerator that had some bottles of wine on it. happened about 2.5 hours ago. just some head pain, but no other symptoms. should i get this checked out?

It would be hard at your age to suffer any serious injury from hitting a shelf in the fridge. A headache is not uncommon after hitting your head. I don't think you need to worry. If you notice any confusion, vision changes, excessive sleepiness, or vomiting, you should go to the ER. It is unlikely you hit hard enough to do any severe damage.
