Very good afternoon doctors. i need to do a 24-hour urine collection and keep the urine refrigerated. silly question. is it safe or at all dangerous to keep the urine in the same refrigerator that i am already using to keep my food cold?

Never a silly question. Your urine will be in a container, so it won't harm the food. Keep it capped to avoid any odor mixing with your food as well. Your urine is usually sterile and should pose no risk to food stored in the fridge.
