My urine lab test shows 3+ protein in my urine collection. all my lab test are neg. so my doc ask me a kidney biopsy . he told me if dont have budget for biopsy, he would try to give me a "steriod medicine" as testing... does giving steriod safe ?

There are many reasons to have proteins in urine. First get the test repeated to see if it was accurate. many times the cause can be found without going to biopsy. I would advise seeing a Nephrologist- preferably at an academic center. good luck

cloudy urine 2-3 times a day. for 7 years now.I get regular kidney tests and last year had my urine tested for protein. Tests show nothing wrong.
