I had lumpectomy nov 14. i developed an infection about 3 weeks later. i have been on antibiotics cefadroxil 5oomg twice a day for 2 weeks now and i noticed improvement but the redness isn't totally gone . is the infection cleared?

If redness, swelling and tenderness are less and the surgical wound is dry, you should be fine. Two weeks of oral antibiotic for a surgical wound infection is about right.
