Since basilar migraine is rare, am not aware of any large research study. Would think it to be likely safe and effective. The drug Emgality is approved for Cluster HA and might be a choice. Ask your neurologist

Diagnosed chronic daily migraine . . Bad spells can last 8 weeks . On cgrp and amytipline . Also have classic migraine with aura . I find my classic attacks are a lot milder and different pain type does that mean the long attacks arent migraine?
