A member asked:

I have a hard 10x12cm fat tissue on my thigh (i am 95kg). the radiologist on echotomography, deep tissue imaging saw non-vascularized, non-incapsulated fat tissue. how often is this description a possible liposarcoma. your opinion please?

In a situation like this I feel the ordering MD should sit down with the interpreting radiologist& get his/her differential diagnosis of such a lesion, what further testing is advisable, such as CT scan, MRI,biopsy. Orthopedic surgeon consultation indicated.
