My pap smear results said normal. negative for malignancy. but under the recommendations it said inflammation. is this a cause for concern? my doctor didnt even mention it to me. i just seen it?

Inflammation is a very common finding on pap smear -- so common that it's often considered normal. However, it could be significant if you have symptoms like vaginal discharge or spotting between periods; or if at risk for infection, such as STDs. Best to discuss with your doctor. Good luck.
