A member asked:

My father is 62, and he has ms , he is now in a wheel chair, and can't walk, he cant sit up from a sleeping position. how can this disablity be reversed?, he is doing physiotherapy but no progress so far, what do you suggest he will do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depending on how long he has had the symptoms, it may not be reversible. Deficit from an exacerbation can reverse to some extent, however, the disease unfortunately is progressive.
