Do men with prostate enlargement and with lower urinary tract symptoms, such as a hesitant urine stream, need to urinate sitting instead of standing to empty the bladder better?

Yes, some people with LUTS void easier with sitting than standing.

There is no conclusive study. If standing makes one feel they are emptying better then that is best for them A scientific way is to have an ultra sound test done trying both and see in which position one empties more.
