I have a hard non painful lump in between my earlobe and jawline. i read that it could be lymph nodes fighting a cold or upper respiratory infection, but im not sick. could that still be the case and could it be nothing to worry about, or urgent?

It could be a lymph node. You can watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
