Smaller than pea sized hard, immovable lump about an inch behind ear. no pain. could it just be a lymph node from infection? or should i be worried that its hard & immovable? do i need to see a dr asap or can i wait?

There are many possibilities as to what this can be so the only way to get a diagnosis is to see your doctor. If it begins to grow, then you need to be seen ASAP but if it is not growing and you have an appointment coming up, it is probably ok to wait. Monitor it closely and if anything changes-increases in size, becomes painful, etc., then see the doctor right away. Good luck!
