Description of your symptoms and physical findings are not consistent with acute HIV infection. To be sure, have a combination antigen/antibody immunoassay.

The HIV antibody blood tests are always accurate when done more than a few weeks after exposure, and symptoms rarely are helpful in judging possible HIV. You can rely on the negative test result; ask your doctor about other possible causes of your symptoms (which don't sound like HIV anyway).
