My daughter has been sick a few days now, we went to see a np. she is 7 months old, they perscribed her prednisolone. some side effects concern me, and it says careful while bf, but we're suppose to give it straight to her. should she be taking this?

The medication has many uses and use at 7 months is not unusual. You did not provide enough detail about why the kid was seen and what was found to comment on the treatment plan. You are welcome to start over.
