Prednisolone was prescribed to my 7mnth old(5ml/per day). she has been sick since mon started with fever/congestion. now she is wheezing. i started her 1st dose today. will this affect ability to heal? can i continue to give her infant ibuprofen?

Your baby is likely to have a bronchiolitis, and prednisolone is unlikely to help her congestion and wheezing. Make sure she takes enough fluid and pay good attention on her breathing status, i.e., fast breathing and chest retraction. Inadequate fluid intake or visible chest retraction should prompt medical attention.
