Should my 1 year old daughter be taking prednisolone for a mild cough?

Mild=no: Prednisolone is a potent steroid that has many uses including during moderate to severe upper respiratory illnesses. I never use it for anything "mild" since it can impair the natural immune response and or effectiveness of vaccines given within weeks of use, depending on the dose & duration. It does have use in asthma too.
