If this represents a pulse oximetry reading, the levels are well within the normal range.

Normal levels, however trends are critical to observe as if your previous oxygen sats were 100 and that is a drop to 96-97, that will constitute a worrisome trend specifically if it keeps dropping. Isolated values have otherwise limited meaning.
