A member asked:

Can i have regional anesthesia during a hysteroscopy and biopsy of the uterus done together? can i make that choice for this day procedure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Regional anesthesia : With a hysteroscopy and uterine biopsy, a local paracervical injection is usually sufficient, but ask your gyn physician as he/she will be able to make that decision. This may involve a hospital based procedure, not his/her office.
