Sorry, but it is unlikely a UTI explains hip or thigh pain. Probably separate problems. That said, weirder things have happened: see what happens as your UTI is treated. But don't let your hopes get too high. Good luck.

The diagnosis of UTI is made with symptoms of frequency, burning and sometimes pain in lower mid abdomen. Groin and hip pain are not the usual symptoms of UTI. Also the urine is examined for infection in UTI. So relief of your symptoms will depend on the accuracy of the diagnosis.
