See Urologist: If you have had 2 rounds of antibiotics without resolution of your symptoms you need to be further evaluated by a Urologist. Urinary urgency/ urge symptoms can be caused by issues other than infection.

Here are some ...: How was your "UTI" based on - symptoms or urinalysis or urine culture or all together? Generally speaking, common uncomplicated bacterial UTI in females usually only requires antibiotic for 3-5 days to eradicated bugs and ease UTI-related Sx if effective. If symptoms linger after 2-wk antibiotic, your need to be re-evaluated for accuracy in diagnosis and treatment so to adjust content of care...
