My orthopedic surgeon ordered a contrast mri to evaluate two bone islands/lesions in my r ilium. x-ray report indicates 2 separate foci, one 5.8 x 2.0 cm and one 1.8 x 1.5 cm. history of r hip and r si joint pain. what could be his concern?
